TrailX is designed to be a privacy-first technical resource. We do not require account creation or collect personal identification information to browse our trail registry or technical documentation.

When you use the TrailX Route Analyzer or Composer:

• Uploaded GPX files are processed **entirely within your browser** (client-side).
• Your geospatial data is NOT uploaded to our servers or stored in any database.
• Any analytics generated are temporary and reside only in your session memory.

We use minimal cookies and local storage to:

• Remember your theme preferences (Light/Dark mode).
• Save map view state during your session for a better user experience.
• Anonymous traffic analytics (if enabled) to understand which trails are most popular.

Our maps are powered by OpenStreetMap, Leaflet, and Mapbox. These providers may collect anonymous usage data to render tiles and provide search functionality. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
